Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid OT license in Missouri
- Experience working in school-based settings, especially with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills to manage a multi-site caseload
- Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with faculty, staff, and families
- Comfort working independently and developing your own weekly schedule with initial oversight
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of around 32 students, delivering approximately 800 minutes weekly
- Manage your weekly schedule and travel between assigned school sites (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Document services and maintain accurate records per school protocols
- Collaborate with special education staff and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Develop and adapt interventions tailored to each student's unique needs and educational goals
This is a full-time contract position, with typical work hours from roughly 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (7.5 hours daily). You will enjoy the autonomy to build your own schedule, ensuring flexibility as you meet the needs of your students and sites.
