Your expertise will be essential in assessing student needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families. You'll work approximately 20 hours per week, providing hands-on therapy and support to a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid MA Occupational Therapy License
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptable problem-solving approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy services for preschool and elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive, accessible learning environment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in meetings and contribute your expertise to enrich student services
