Work with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade at a supportive public charter school near Columbia, SC, providing therapy services that promote student success and independence. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of South Carolina
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8th grade students
- Comfortable delivering services onsite and/or via teletherapy platforms
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions that help students achieve academic and functional goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student participation in classroom activities and school routines
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students’ educational plans
- Deliver services during school hours, Monday through Friday (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
- Manage a full-time caseload at one public charter school, with options for onsite or virtual service delivery
