Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Experience with pediatric or school-based OT preferred
- Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy interventions, and documentation requirements for school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized OT interventions for students
- Develop and update treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to identify student needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to empower student independence and participation in academic and daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for accommodations and modifications
- Stay current with best practices and relevant certifications in school-based OT
