This contract opportunity is based near Jaffrey, NH, providing targeted support for a male student in a residential hospital setting. The role focuses on one-on-one services, collaborating closely with hospital staff to design and deliver individualized therapy that meets evolving needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in New Hampshire
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric or school-based OT
- Comfortable working in a hospital or residential care setting
- Ability to adapt sessions to meet the changing needs of a student new to OT services
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy to a single student during designated days and times: Mondays and Fridays between 8:15am and up to 3:00pm (specific hours to be coordinated)
- Create and implement gradual, student-centered session plans as the student acclimates to services
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with hospital staff to ensure consistent care and support
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation on therapy sessions and student outcomes
