You’ll collaborate with a welcoming school community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities by providing crucial assessment, planning, and intervention services.
Key Qualifications:
- Active certification as an Occupational Therapist from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of best practices for assessment, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goal development, and therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student occupational therapy needs
- Develop clear and measurable goals tailored to each student’s requirements
- Deliver evidence-based, appropriate intervention services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Adapt to evolving caseload details to best serve students throughout the assignment
