Qualifications:
- Valid Maine Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Ability to adapt services for various student needs, including adaptive skills programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of up to 30 students across two nearby schools (conveniently located less than half a mile apart)
- Provide effective, evidence-based therapy services to support IEP goals and student success
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual treatment plans
- Facilitate adaptive skills programming tailored for each student’s unique abilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per state and district standards
- Work approximately 7 hours each day, within an 8:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule (exact hours may vary)
