Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure, in the state
- Previous experience supporting students in K-12 school settings is highly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organization, documentation, and time-management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' sensory, motor, and functional needs within the school context
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans that address students’ unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with classroom staff to adapt strategies and materials
- Maintain consistent communication with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Create progress reports and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student programming
- Contribute to a positive, student-centered team environment
