Position Overview:
- Full-time commitment, 5 days per week (37-40 hours), with a schedule from July 22, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
- Serve a diverse caseload, including students from pre-kindergarten (3K) through 12th grade.
- Support students located within various attendance areas, including Pageland, Chesterfield, Cheraw, Jefferson, and McBee.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (South Carolina certification or eligibility required).
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings is highly valued.
- Familiarity with the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including assessments, goal-setting, and progress monitoring.
- Strong communication abilities for effective consultation with teachers, staff, and families.
- Adaptability and commitment to fostering student independence across multiple grade levels and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and comprehensive evaluations for students with varying needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborating with educators and related support staff.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and individualized recommendations.
- Deliver direct intervention and consultative services to promote student participation and success in academic and functional activities.
- Document and report student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
