Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with adapting interventions for a variety of student needs and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ skills and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of all services and progress
- Assist with the development and implementation of classroom strategies to enhance participation and access to learning
- Provide training and guidance to school staff on occupational therapy strategies and accommodations
