You’ll work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team, collaborating in a shared office space with a physical therapist and adapted physical education specialist. What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
- School-based OT experience preferred; open to those enthusiastic about working in educational settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with PTs, APEs, COTAs, teachers, and staff.
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including PreK–8th grade.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy services to meet students’ Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.
- Assess and document individual needs, progress, and outcomes using evidence-based practices.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to foster student growth and independence.
- Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom modifications.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and licensure standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development.
