Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital occupational therapy services to students in a dynamic PreK–8th grade environment. This position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering a full-time schedule within an engaging, collaborative setting. You will share office space with a dedicated Physical Therapist and Adapted Physical Education specialist, with the added support of a COTA on-site one day per week.

Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (OT) for Louisiana is required
- Previous experience in a school setting, working with PreK–8th grade students, preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to document progress and coordinate with staff and families
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility, creativity, and passion for working in an educational environment
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
- Assess students, develop intervention plans, and regularly monitor progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals to implement strategies that support student success
- Provide staff and family education on sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive and productive atmosphere for all students
