This is a contract opportunity to cover a maternity leave, working full-time across two elementary schools and providing services for one private school student in the surrounding area. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective at adapting therapy plans for varied student needs across multiple sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT services to elementary-age students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and functional success
- Travel between assigned locations as part of your weekly schedule
- Attend meetings and contribute to ongoing student care planning
