Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and service teams
- Ability to adapt strategies and interventions to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional, sensory, and motor needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational objectives
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate on IEP teams
- Support classroom staff with strategies to enhance student participation and performance
- Track and document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school policies
- Offer consultation and training to parents and educators on implementing accommodations and supports
- Contribute to a positive school culture through shared problem-solving and resource development
