We’re seeking caring and collaborative professionals for contract roles within K-12 school settings, starting with the full school year and mid-year opening options.
Available Assignments:
- 0.8 FTE Occupational Therapist: Full school year position (August 28th – June 18th) in South Seattle
- 1.0 FTE Occupational Therapist: January 4th start through the end of the school year in Southwest Seattle
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT state licensure and eligibility for school-based practice
- Prior experience supporting children and adolescents in a school environment, with a strong ability to address varied learning and access needs (preferred)
- Understanding of IEP process and best practices for documentation
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Dedication to culturally responsive and inclusive care
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in K-12, focusing on developing functional, educational, and social skills
- Conduct evaluations and write related assessment reports
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide ongoing consultation, support, and resources for staff and families
- Maintain accurate progress records and participate in IEP meetings
