Desired Experience and Skills:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state
- Experience working with students in Pre-K, Elementary (grades K-5), Middle School (grades 6-8), and High School (grades 9-12)
- Background in early childhood education is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual and group needs
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess student needs and develop effective intervention strategies across multiple grade levels
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate therapy records and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support classroom adaptations and sensory strategies to enhance learning environments
