Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Holds an active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Previous experience working with middle and high school students is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop and track IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy services.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff.
- Ability to maintain organized and accurate documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to identify student needs and develop therapeutic plans tailored to individual goals.
- Work collaboratively with educational teams to create and support IEP goals specific to occupational therapy.
- Provide direct therapy services focused on enhancing student participation, independence, and functional skills in the school environment.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize student outcomes.
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers and families to support continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services.
