Preferred candidates bring:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in South Carolina
- Experience working in K-12 school settings or with school-aged children (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices, including assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication abilities for working with students, families, and staff
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals and district protocols
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Document services and communicate regularly with staff and families on student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and instructional teams to help foster student growth and independence
