Your work day will offer up to seven productive hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, all within a balanced schedule.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of students’ motor skills and sensory needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students’ academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Document therapy sessions and track student progress according to district and legal requirements
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes as needed
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within inclusive and specialized educational environments
