Starting August 2026 and running through May 2027, you’ll provide essential therapy services to diverse learners during the 2026/2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
- Experience working as an OT in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to create supportive learning environments
- Develop and maintain clear records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input regarding OT needs and student progress
- Adapt strategies and interventions to fit a wide range of student abilities and ages
