Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (or eligibility)
- Demonstrated expertise in a school setting, including individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Experience with Home Health and Healthcare OT practices is highly desirable
- Competency in teletherapy delivery, including comfort with digital platforms and remote engagement
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and a range of service delivery models
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students, both individually and in groups
- Develop, implement, and document evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s learning goals
- Deliver therapy services on-site and via virtual platforms, adapting seamlessly between in-person and teletherapy
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff, offering strategies and tools to support student independence and success
- Monitor progress, track data, and adjust interventions to meet evolving student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student support planning
