Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Arkansas Occupational Therapist license is required
- Proven background in school-based occupational therapy
- Strong communication skills for building relationships with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including IEP documentation and progress tracking
- Familiarity with sensory integration, fine and gross motor skill development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate student abilities, develop goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and personal development
- Conduct screenings and assessments as needed
- Offer recommendations and training to educators and families to facilitate student success in and out of the classroom
