School Occupational Therapist | Lawrence, Massachusetts
Make an impact working with students across a range of ages in a supportive, collaborative school environment as an Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity runs from September 1, 2026, to June 14, 2027, working onsite three days per week with K-12 students. Each day offers the chance to help children build skills for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience delivering school-based OT services
- Familiarity with diverse student populations, including K-12
- Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Proactive and adaptable approach to individualized care plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite occupational therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional needs to support learning
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom adaptations
- Attend team meetings, contribute to IEP processes, and provide ongoing consultation
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional and ethical standards
