This itinerant position focuses on delivering occupational therapy services to a diverse early childhood caseload in the greater Lebanon, OR area, beginning in August 2026 for the 2026-27 school year.
Your experience with school-based OT practices will help provide critical services to children and families at an important developmental stage. The role offers significant backing from a dedicated EI Team, ensuring you have the resources and encouragement to create meaningful, lasting impact.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Current Oregon licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school-based OT, specifically with early childhood or Early Intervention populations
- Strong knowledge of evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Ability to function flexibly as an itinerant therapist across multiple locations
- Collaborative mindset to work well within a multidisciplinary evaluation team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to early childhood students
- Participate in the evaluation process and collaborate to develop student-centered goals
- Provide direct and consultative services within classrooms, homes, and community settings
- Work closely with families, teachers, and colleagues to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and assist with compliance in accordance with program standards
- Travel between sites as needed, supported by the EI Team
