Ideal qualifications and experience:
- Active Kansas OT license (required)
- Experience or strong interest working in schools or with pediatric caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess student needs and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success in the educational environment
- Handle documentation, progress notes, and evaluations in a timely manner
- Flexibly schedule service across multiple campus locations based on student needs
