Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience with school-aged children, preferably in settings including Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade, and High School
- Comfort with developing and implementing IEP goals and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and a passion for helping students reach their potential
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to both in-person and hybrid service models
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ abilities and needs within various grade levels
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into classroom routines
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide training and support for staff to promote student success
- Adjust interventions as needed to accommodate hybrid instruction if requested
