As the provider for several school campuses, you’ll have autonomy in designing your weekly schedule, with the guidance and oversight of school leadership at the start of the year. You'll play a key role in ensuring consistent therapy for each student on your caseload—about 32 direct students, delivering a total of 800 minutes per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri (COTAs considered)
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently while collaborating with educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve a variety of elementary, middle, and high school students by providing individualized OT services
- Manage and prioritize a caseload across Oakwood Manor Elementary, Gracemor Elementary, NKC High School, and Northgate Middle
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ educational success and participation
- Document interventions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
