Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and school staff
- Excellent communication for teamwork and partnering with families
Responsibilities:
- Cover several school sites, including Oakwood Manor Elementary, NKC High School, Gracemor Elementary, and Northgate Middle
- Manage a caseload of approximately 32 direct students (serving around 800 minutes per week)
- Adapt and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student participation and success
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and communication with educational teams
- Ensure all assigned students are seen each week, as per caseload expectations
- Collaborate on scheduling and planning with initial oversight at the start of the assignment
- Work full-time hours, approximately 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, for the duration of the contract (August 25th to December 18th)
