Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Michigan
- School-based OT experience highly valued
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals
- Expertise in fine motor and gross motor skills interventions
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' needs and design individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct OT services in elementary or high school settings
- Document progress according to school and healthcare standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student achievement
- Utilize teletherapy platforms when appropriate for service delivery
