Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in the state of Michigan
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Strong ability to assess students’ needs and develop individualized plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting interventions within the school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students with a variety of learning and physical needs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized goals that support academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to recommend accommodations and modifications to optimize student participation
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting in accordance with school procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
