Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active OT licensure in California (CA OT certification required)
- Previous experience in school settings, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy strongly preferred
- Ability to assess student needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and document progress effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with students, families, and fellow professionals
- Adaptable and comfortable with technology for teletherapy when needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate and document student progress using evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibly provide services both onsite and through teletherapy as student needs dictate
- Maintain compliance with school regulations and ethical standards of practice
