Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Proficiency with fine motor skill development, visual motor integration, sensory integration, and sensory processing needs
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to conduct effective evaluations, write measurable goals, and monitor student progress
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Capable of working with students across the K-12 age range
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored intervention plans
- Support students with sensory, visual-motor, and fine motor challenges to promote occupational performance
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEPs
- Develop clear, actionable goals and monitor student progress regularly
- Engage and collaborate with educators, families, and other providers to create an inclusive learning environment
- Document services, communicate progress, and provide recommendations according to compliance standards
