Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school-based environment preferred
- Ability to manage a part-time schedule—1.5 days per week (16 hours total)
- Comfortable working onsite with students and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct OT interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success
- Evaluate therapy outcomes and modify approaches as needed to ensure measurable progress
