Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings is highly desired
- Comfortable working with K-12 students of varying abilities
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative spirit with educators, families, and other related service professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a varied K-12 student caseload
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
