As a traveling Occupational Therapist, you’ll work with Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade students across two mornings per week. This exposure to varying student needs, district protocols, and innovative interventions will strengthen your skillset, build your resume, and keep your work dynamic and meaningful. Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current CA OT license and NBCOT certification (or eligibility)
- Experience (or strong interest) in pediatric/school-based therapy
- Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and collaborative consultation
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assess and deliver evidence-based OT services to TK–5th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized goals and treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school/state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
