School Occupational Therapist | Lynn, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
- Prepared to work with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships and promoting students’ individual growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of needs
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive classroom environments
- Monitor progress and document interventions in accordance with state and district policies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and adjustment of strategies as required to meet evolving student needs
- Stay current with best practices and trends in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
