School Occupational Therapist | Lynn, Massachusetts
A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist ready to make a difference in K-12 students’ lives! This full-time, onsite role runs from October 26, 2026, through March 30, 2027, with flexibility around scheduling. You'll work 32 hours across four days per week within a supportive and collaborative school environment. The focus will be on delivering occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload, providing essential evaluations, progress reports, and direct interventions tailored to students’ needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts (must be presented up front)
- Demonstrated school-based OT experience
- Background check and fingerprinting (CORI) required before start
- Comfortable working with K-12 populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Must be able to work fully onsite
- Willing to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services for a K-12 student caseload
- Conduct evaluations, complete progress reports, and maintain accurate documentation
- Deliver direct therapy in individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with educators and support personnel to promote student success
- Adapt interventions to meet individual student goals and educational plans
- Engage confidently with parents and guardians regarding therapy goals and results
This contract position is set within a welcoming school community, with opportunities to impact diverse learners and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The schedule consists of four set days per week, with options for flexibility if needed.
