Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Recent school-based experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of pediatric practice, sensory integration, and assistive technology
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based OT interventions to support students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to assess student skills and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Implement evidence-based strategies for fine and gross motor development, sensory processing, and self-regulation
- Adapt services to align with each student’s unique goals and learning environment
- Provide consultative support and resources to staff and parents as needed
