Key Skills & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience or interest in school-based OT practice
- Strong communication skills for collaborative teamwork
- Adaptability with changing assignments and diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEPs and goal writing preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students on assigned campuses
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals for student success
- Implement interventions addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
- Maintain documentation and contribute to student progress reports
- Support students in achieving greater independence within the school environment
Assignment Details:
- Two locations, Mesa Vista and Gridley, with split schedules
- Gridley site: beginning June 8th
- Second site: starting June 11th
- Contract runs through July 2nd
- Approximately three days per week, allowing flexibility
