This full-time, in-person contract position seeks two skilled Occupational Therapists who are passionate about fostering student growth and making a real difference in their school experience.
Your caseload will involve collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to deliver high-quality OT services, primarily in Oroville with the potential to support schools in Paradise as needed. Travel between school sites is required, and you’ll receive mileage reimbursement for your trips, ensuring your dedication is recognized and valued.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials for school-based practice
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
- Skilled in working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Flexible, organized, and able to travel to multiple campuses as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support student achievement
- Assess and document student needs, progress, and interventions in compliance with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with staff and families, and provide recommendations for accommodations/adaptations
- Maintain accurate records and manage a diverse workload across multiple school sites
