- Prior experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage caseloads efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional needs within the educational environment
- Develop and deliver therapy interventions aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure students’ therapy goals are supported in the classroom
- Monitor progress and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies to reinforce therapy objectives
