- Confidence and adaptability to provide services across multiple school sites (itinerant)
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage a flexible caseload
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with student IEP goals for varied needs, from mild to severe
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Adapt interventions and strategies for each student, addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills deficits
- Evaluate student progress and document ongoing assessments and treatment outcomes
- Travel between assigned school sites to meet student and program needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student growth and independence
