School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Texas | 2026-2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is currently hiring a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based opportunity in Texas for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026. This position offers the chance to work within a collaborative educational environment while helping students strengthen the skills needed for academic and developmental success.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced school-based therapists, as well as Occupational Therapists looking to transition from clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or hospital settings into the school system.
Position Details
- Full-time opportunity
- Assignment dates: 8/3/26 - 5/27/27
- Onsite position
- Additional caseload details to be discussed on interview
- Supportive district and multidisciplinary therapy team
- 1-2 school sites for assignment
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services in alignment with student IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support student growth and independence
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress updates
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy license
- Ability to work onsite within a school-based setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Open to candidates transitioning from clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or medical settings
