Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Background in school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Skilled at developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document students’ progress through regular reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Offer recommendations for classroom and school-based modifications
- Adapt and adjust interventions based on ongoing assessments and feedback
