Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Valid licensure as an OT or COTA
- Previous experience in school-based OT, home health, or teletherapy settings
- Demonstrated expertise in promoting gross motor skill development
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and families
- Flexible approach to adapting therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
- Ability to travel locally as required for service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions within school environments
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to create effective treatment plans
- Support gross motor and fine motor skill development in students
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records meeting all compliance standards
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Adapt to various modes of therapy, including in-person and remote sessions
