School Occupational Therapist - Marysville, Washington

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current OT license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, particularly within elementary school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- A passion for fostering growth and progress in children with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students identified through IEPs and referrals
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and recommend appropriate interventions
- Design and deliver therapy sessions that address fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills within the school environment
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support students’ learning goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress, therapy notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input that informs educational planning
- Contribute positively to a supportive, child-focused school community
