You’ll have the chance to provide vital assessments and evaluations on an as-needed basis, playing a key consultative role within the district for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio (active ODE and state credentials)
- Experience in school-based settings, including teletherapy best practices
- Confidence supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and evaluations in accordance with IEP goals
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork, communication, and positive student outcomes
Role Highlights:
- Complete evaluations and assessments as needed to support special education eligibility and planning
- Provide supervision and mentorship to a long-term COTA (direct therapy conducted by the COTA)
- Participate in paid team meetings and indirect administrative time
- Utilize the district’s IEP documentation system with training provided for onboarding
- Flexible, “as needed” weekly hours to fit your schedule and balance
