Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or COTA with supervisory arrangements
- Previous experience in school-based therapy, ideally with knowledge of IEPs and educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and prioritize the diverse needs of students
- Passion for fostering independence, inclusion, and success for children with a range of developmental and physical abilities
Primary Duties:
- Deliver occupational therapy services, assessments, and interventions as outlined in student IEPs
- Work closely with teachers and families to develop strategies that enhance participation in classroom activities
- Accurately document all therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school district guidelines
- Provide consultative support and resources to staff members to promote a therapeutic learning environment
- Travel between assigned school locations, if combining both roles
