This contract opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and concludes May 27, 2027, offering meaningful work while making a real difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in a K-12 school environment
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to inclusive and student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students with a variety of needs
- Develop customized treatment plans to address fine/gross motor and sensory challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to implement strategies in and out of the classroom
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and prepare required reports
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral team member
- Offer training and support to school staff and caregivers to maximize student success
