Position Details:
- Schedule: Three days per week, totaling approximately 22.5 to 24 hours weekly
- Caseload: Manage 34 students, with additional evaluations pending
- Grades Served: Wide spectrum from kindergarten through 11th/12th grades—most students are in elementary and middle school
- Primary Focus: Support students with Autism, Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and Other Health Impairment (OHI)
- Setting: 100% in-person on campus engagement; remote or hybrid options are not available
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid and active licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in school-based OT settings preferred
- Strong organizational skills to maintain IEP compliance and thorough documentation
- Ability to deliver effective direct, hands-on therapy tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborative mindset for working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and evaluations as required
- Develop, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Deliver direct OT services, focusing on functional and educationally relevant goals
- Track progress diligently and maintain compliance with all district and legal requirements
- Engage in active, on-site collaboration to support diverse student needs
