Key Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist licensure in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Capable of managing a varied caseload efficiently
- Skilled at conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and documenting progress
- Adaptable and committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultative support in classrooms
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies to promote student success
